M is a queer, non-binary, bilingual Latinx Social Worker from California. They are the founder of Chingonx Counseling & Consulting. The Denver Metro has been home to M for nearly a decade. They have been serving diverse underserved communities and their families. Specializing in bilingual social determinants of health assessments for clinical case management programs and Latinx Immigrant/Refugee, Diversity, Equity & Inclusiveness Trainings. Across the fields of the non-profit, academic, government and private sectors.
M's clinical practice engages in trauma informed and strength-based perspectives. They integrate culturally sensitive and responsive tools for healing through the use of narrative therapy and advanced motivational interviewing. Their work centers with LGBTQIA+ BIPOC, Domestic Violence/Family Violence, Immigrant & Refugee traumas. To empower community members intersectionality, resilience and journey toward healing.
